Panlatin Wind Power Glossary

© Panlatin Terminology Network (Realiter)

Formerly restricted to agricultural uses, wind power has over time become one of the key growth areas on the world energy stage. Although not intended to be exhaustive, the list of terms used in the Panlatin Wind Power Glossary seeks to reflect the knowledge accumulated to date in the subeject-matter and focuses on terminology in various fields: meteorology, aerodynamics, energy conversion and environmental impacts. The Panlatin Wind Power Glossary was prepared by the Réseau panlatin de terminologie (Realiter) in co-operation with the Government of Canada's Translation Bureau, which co-ordinated the project.
